This collection represents my personal style.

It was made for my Grandson.

Because....there's nothing like a grandson 

to put a smile on your face,

 a lump in your throat, and a warm feeling in your heart.

He will have so much fun wearing these

 colorful and comfortable clothes.

I can envision him flapping his bat wings and imagining himself flying or spreading out his Spiderman web 
as he rushes to save the world.

He'll hang from the rope on his swingset...and 

pretend to be an upside down Spiderman.

He'll spin yarns about the his adventures with PJ Masks. 

AND... if your sewing ability allows you
to create all these wonderful
adventures for a child you care about 
then I can't wait to begin sewing .

Earth Day 2019: A Celebration Around the World

    

Earth Day is celebrated around the World

and 

The focus of Earth Day 2019 is "Protect Our Species" 

All of our plants and animals have value in themselves and are part of the web of life. Our lives and theirs are linked together inextricably — without them, our own species might not survive.

The Facts: Declining and Endangered Species

• Land-dwelling wildlife species have declined by 40% since 1970.
• Marine animal populations have fallen by 40% overall.
• Birds populations have been reduced by about 20-25%.
• Freshwater animal populations have plummeted by 75% since 1970.
• Insect populations have also declined dramatically. In Germany alone, insects have declined by 75% in the last 30 years.
• Almost fifty percent of the world’s coral reefs have died in the last 30 years.
• *     According to the Earth Day Network

 We’re all connected: We need to collectively support natural ecosystems, so they can continue to sustain life on earth.




 

So our entry into the Project Run and Play Challenge could be worn at the celebration of 

 Earth Day 2019

 because it celebrates the ecosystem of the mountains and the animals that live there.

This comfortable cotton lyrca fabric

  features beautifully muted coloration.

The pattern was self-drafted to show off the layers of colors and the silhouette of the mountain forests at the bottom of each leg.

in our area in 2019.

Fall Inspired Bomper Jacket with Hipster Raccoon

When you look closely at the fabric you will see deep into the woods at dusk in the fall. Then to add to the mix...it's a hipster raccoon!

This bomber jacket was made with the Jolie Charlie Bomber Jacket pattern.

Peeking out from the jacket is a long sleeve shirt with

 cold shoulders that I designed.

 

 It has a curved hemline

 and

 the sleeves are finished with a band.

Now you can see the 

cold shoulders

on the sleeve. 

She told me that this is how pre-teens 

wear this outfit!
