The Reason Behind My New Blog

I've been following the blog, "Project Run and Play." This blog has periodic sewing/designing contests just like "Project Runway", but for kids. I've been so inspired that I decided to create this blog so I can join this awesome community of sewers/designers.  Following the creators of the projects that were shown in Season 5 lead me to new blogs, new fabric and notion suppliers, and new enthusiasm for sewing again.

They are having Open Auditions for Season 6 beginning on December 6th, 2012. Each hopeful competitor will load one photo of a children's creation to a linky party. Then the judging will begin.

I'm going to submit a photo of my new sewing creation for my granddaughter on my new blog and say a little prayer!
