I first thought the ruffles were on the back, I personally would have liked it better, but congratulations on your dress, it's adorable!
Magda, I agree that the ruffles would look quite nice in the back. The front ruffles did give a rather simple design some interest though. My other granddaughter wants a dress just like it "with butterflies!"Deborah
Love the contrast of fabrics! Well done!
My daughter challenged me to start using bolder colors instead of so much pink, and pastels. Thanks for the compliment. Deborah
I love the ruffles in the front, too cute!-Ash Phttp://distractedashley.blogspot.com
Adorable. Love the shape of the dress! Great job!
Thanks Olga. I am beginning to think..."I wonder what Olga with think of this outfit!" I appreciate all your comments.Deborah
such a sweet dress and i love how you accessorized matching shoes and headband!
Such a cute dress! I know the first 2 commentors said that they think the ruffles would have looked better in the back, but I like them in the front! Ruffles in the back get sat on and then all smooshed.
Angela, My granddaughter liked the ruffles in the front. She kept saying, "Pretty, pretty." while touching the ruffles. Overall, I'm very happy with the dress. I will probably make another one for my other granddaughter.Deborah
The ruffles are oh so sweet. I love the contrast of the chevron ruffle fabric to the flower fabric. Great job. Your granddaughter is so lucky to have a grandma who makes pretty dresses for her.
Super cute! And the fabric combination is adorable. liZ
This dress is super cute! I love the addition of the floral fabric and those shoes are adorable! (Your little model is adorable, too!)
Those ruffles in the front are so cute! I really love the style.
